Incoming Freshman Baseball
Registration Dates:
Registration Open: April 17
Registration Close: May 5
Program Overview: This program is for Incoming Freshmen to LTHS, the LTHS Class of 2028, players who intend to attend LTHS and try out for the baseball team.
Dates for the program: Week of June 4 to July 17th
Practice/Game Days: Tuesday practices 5:30-7:30 & Wednesday game night 5:30 or 7:30
Where: LTISD facilities or FOD 3 home games at either of those venues and also 2 road games.
Who - everyone who signs up can play - rec players through majors select players are welcome; all skill levels and all positions encouraged
· Practice - one per week on Tuesday at LTYA FOD OR Lake Travis High School field, depending on baseball field construction
· Games - one per week on Wednesday some at LTYA FOD OR Lake Travis High School field, depending on baseball field construction, and some away games
· Uniforms - basic dri-fit T-shirts and hats included with registration; black & red socks and belts to be purchased by the player
· Cost - $225 registration fee
· Schedule - 5-7 weeks over the summer - first week in June through mid-July; no games or practices the week of July 4th week. Other teams will include - Westlake, Bowie, Johnson, Dripping Springs, and Vandegrift
o It is OK to continue to play with current select teams
o No need to skip family vacations etc. This is laid back and not an ultra-competitive end-of-the-world type commitment
o Come when you can - We will have everything in GameChanger and will ask for RSVPs in advance to make sure we have enough players for each game.
