All,

I just wanted to drop everyone a quick note about basketball. I’ve introduced myself to most of you, but for those who I haven’t met, and those who have forgot, my name is Kevin, and I’m Cameron’s dad. My wife’s name is Lindsay and we also have a four-year old Morgan who loves to go and watch her brother play on Saturdays. If you missed the first two games, its not too late. We only have four players, so we could use another one or two – especially if one of the boys can’t make it.

I volunteered to be the teams coach at the last minute, but I’m so glad I did. I am having a blast watching the boys have fun every week, and developing their skills. I absolutely loved basketball as a kid, and I’m hoping that the boys on the team will start to develop a passion for the game this season if they don’t already have it…

For next Saturday’s game (1/4/14), I will not be able to make the game, so if one of the other dads or moms wants to step up to the plate and be coach for the day, please let me know as soon as possible. Otherwise, my wife Lindsay will get the duty by default – a duty I’m not so sure she is excited about. I have been developing a rough practice plan prior to the game days, but as you have probably noticed, I tend to adjust away from the plan once I see how the plan works or doesn’t. Regardless, I’d be happy to share some ideas for next week, and the league also provides a standard practice plan.
