We are excited to announce a new partner for our weekly volleyball clinics this year, Austin Junior Volleyball. Austin Junior Volleyball is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1984 as a girl’s volleyball club. The AJV teams participate extensively throughout Texas and in other tournaments around the country from late November through early July. Since its inception, Austin Junior Volleyball, has expanded to include boys volleyball and sand volleyball. Austin Junior Volleyball has won 5 National Championships in its history.

This year, Austin Junior Volleyball, with the support of the LTYA, is excited to host free volleyball clinics in the fall to all LTYA participants in 3rd grade to 6th grade.  AJV will provide instruction in the basic skills needed to play volleyball including serving, passing, setting, and hitting.  AJV will provide high level instructors with a 1:12 coach to player ratio.  The AJV staff running the clinics have successfully coached in the club level, collegiate level, and international level.  This is a great opportunity to learn the game of volleyball, meet new friends, and have a lot of fun.
