Hello Softball Families!

RIPTIDE Fastpitch is LTYA Softball’s competitive select program, created to provide an elevated softball experience for players who are ready for a higher level of commitment and competition while remaining part of the LTYA community.

RIPTIDE Fastpitch serves as an option for experienced players who are seeking the demands of select softball, including a higher level of competition, increased practice expectations, and tournament play, without the need to travel long distances to join an external organization. Players in RIPTIDE Fastpitch remain connected to LTYA and continue to benefit from resources such as our association with the local high school program. We currently field RIPTIDE Fastpitch teams across multiple age groups, with teams at the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U levels, and some age groups fielding multiple teams. 

Each RIPTIDE Fastpitch team has a dedicated coaching staff responsible for evaluating players, forming rosters, and selecting tournaments. Tournament schedules and team costs vary by age group and team, as budgets are determined by factors such as tournament fees, uniforms, equipment, and other team-related expenses.

RIPTIDE Fastpitch rosters are limited and placement is based on team needs and overall fit. Families interested in learning more about the program or the player selection process should contact [email protected] and they can be connected with the appropriate coach.
