Phases and Goals
Below is our 4 phase approach.
Each phase will be tied to local and national government rules and regulations.
We are currently in Phase 2
Phase 1
The goal of this phase is to begin to get athletes back in shape, to sharpen their skills, to engage more with TWE teammates and coaches, and to avoid injury upon return. We will conduct a combination of non-contact practice indoors, with stretching, strength and conditioning outdoors. Virtual training will still be offered.
Phase 2
The goal of this phase is to increase the workload both virtually and in-person. Virtual training will be combined with team practices. Appropriate safety measures will be communicated in full during “Phase 1”
Phase 3
The goal of this phase is to continue to ramp up physical activity and workload, while still controlling the environment. Small-sided games and team scrimmages may be utilized internally.
