HCPW Rules Sheet for All Divisions

Important Dates (all dates subject to change and the program closing when it reaches capacity):

March 9th Registration Opens $495

March  29th  Jersey &  Equipment Fitting / Helmet Recertification - LTHS Track Stadium 12 pm - 5:00 pm

March 31st Prices Increase $25 to $515

April 17th Registration Closes

April 23rd Parent Meeting -  6:30 pm at the LTHS CAC 

Teams Announced No Later than May 29th

Head Coach Meeting TBD

Team Practices may begin on July 15th. (team meetings etc to start 7/15.  Assigned field practices to start 7/27)

August 22nd is Team/Player Certification: Time and Location TBD

August 29th: Pre-Season Scrimmage Jamboree: Time and Location TBD

September 5th: 1st Games:

September 13th      ATX Photos  Team/Individual Pictures - (more info coming out soon!)

Regular Season Game Dates: 9/5, 9/12, 9/19, 9/2, 26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17 (Times TBD and will vary week to week. Generally 8 AM – 7 PM)

HCPW End of Season Tournament Dates: 10/24, 10/31 (Times TBD and will vary week to week. Generally 8 AM – 7 PM)

Post HCPW Season Play May be Available to Teams that Qualify at an Additional Cost.

Description:

Fall 26 LTYA Tackle Football 🏈

LTYA Tackle Football plays in the Hill Country Pop Warner League.

Registration is based on the players age as of 7/14/2026

Divisions:

Tiny Mite: 5-, 6- and 7-year-olds as of 7/14/2026. Developmental/Non-Competitive. No weight limit.

9U:  7 -, 8 -, and 9-year-olds as of 7/14/2026. Developmental/Non-Competitive. Players over 110.4 #’s wear a number in the 90’s and must play tackle to tackle.

10U: 8 -, 9 -, and 10-year-olds as of 7/14/2026. Competitive/Developmental. Players over 125.4 #’s wear a number in the 90’s and must play tackle to tackle.

12U: 10 -,11-, and 12-year-olds as of 7/14/2026. Competitive/Developmental. Players over 140.4 #’s wear a number in the 90’s and must play tackle to tackle.

*Players are encouraged to play in the youngest level to which they qualify to play.

Registration Includes:

LTYA Tackle Football Jersey

5-7 Regular Season Games pending team counts in HCPW

1-2 End of Season Tournament Games

Facility Rental for Practices and Games (Generally 2-3 Practices per week)

Game Officials

Volunteer Head Coach receives league approved footballs, equipment bag, Helmet Repair Kit, First Aid Kit, and related equipment.

Home Game Location:

Lake Travis High School Track Stadium or Other Designated LTISD School.

Away Games:

The following associations are currently part of HCPW; Westlake, Dripping Springs, Four Points; Vista Ridge; SW Austin, NYSA/Round Rock, West Austin and Anderson. Generally half or so of your games will be away.

What Players Will Need:

• Headshot of Player - 
  
  1. Player must be looking straight at the camera
  2. Photo should include the shoulders to the top of the player's head
  3. Player must not have anything on their face (i.e. eye back) or anything on their head (i.e. hat, hoodie, etc.)
  4. Player must be the only person in the photo
• Birth Certificate – a legible copy (the registration name must match exactly).

• Year-End Report Card – for the 2025–2026 school year (all four quarters).
  
  
• 2026–2027 Youth Participant Medical History Form.

• 2026–2027 Participant Contract and Parental Consent Form.

• Helmet with a 24 or 25 certification sticker
• Shoulder Pads Football Pants (coach will define the color: Black &/or white)
• Cleats
• Mouth Piece
• Practice Jersey
• Water Jug/Bottle
