A week is defined as Monday – Sunday. Once games start, expect to practice 2-3 times per week for 2 – 2.5 hours a day. August and September practices will be held at the lower grass field behind HBMS or a designated LTISD or area field. October practices are generally held at LTMS or HBMS turf fields for lights and typically Wednesday and Thursday nights. August and September practices can be any weeknight as coordinated with your team coach.

Games generally start on Labor Day weekend and the regular season runs through the end of October. Local Hill Country Pop Warner play can run through mid-November. We play other area Pop Warner teams and most teams play 6-8 total games with typically 50% being away at other Central Texas school facilities. Expect to travel for game play. LTYA home for game play is typically the Lake Travis High School track stadium.

Players are responsible for their own equipment including helmet, shoulder pads, tackle football pants etc. LTYA has arranged special pricing and will offer at least 2 designated equipment fitting events prior to the season.
