Spring Volleyball 2021 Important Dates



Registration opens on 12/7

Prices increase $25 on 2/15

Registration Closes on 2/25 or when divisions fill

We are pivoting our plan for the Spring Volleyball Clinics as follows:

Monday sessions will be at Bee Creek United Methodist Church indoor gym.  The Wednesday sessions will be at the LTHS outdoor sand volleyball courts.  Dates are as follows and subject to change:


Monday sessions at BCUMC gym; 3/1, 3/8, 3/22, 3/29

Wednesday sessions at LTHS Outdoor Sand Courts; 3/3*, 3/10**, 3/24, 3/31, 4/7

*1st-3rd grade only 5:30 – 6:30.  No Grade 4-6 session this night.

** 4th-6th grade only 5:30 – 6:30.  No Grade 1-3 session this night.

Monday sessions are as follows:

Grade 1-3 is 5:30 – 6:30

Grade 4-6 is 6:45 – 8:15

Wednesday sessions starting 3/24 are as follows:

Grade 1-3 is 5:30 – 6:30

Grade 4-6 is 6:45 – 7:45


All players, coaches and spectators will be required to wear masks.  This includes all players while on the court playing regardless of age.

No Clinics during Spring Break

Team Coach Responsibilities ·

LTYA with support from Austin Juniors will provide a free coaching clinic to all volunteer coaches ·        
Austin Juniors and LT High School Volleyball Coach, Brandace Boren have developed a volleyball coaching manual to help plan your practices, drills and games ·        
Hold practice with your team once a week ·        
Direct your team during games. Games are played Saturday’s at Lake Travis Middle School with different schedules depending on the age group ·        
Promote fair play and team spirit ·        
Communicate with the parents about schedules for games and practices, or any other question the parent may have ·  
Communicate with the volleyball commissioner to answer parent's questions

We are excited to announce a new partner for our weekly volleyball clinics this year, Austin Junior Volleyball. Austin Junior Volleyball is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1984 as a girl’s volleyball club. The AJV teams participate extensively throughout Texas and in other tournaments around the country from late November through early July. Since its inception, Austin Junior Volleyball, has expanded to include boys volleyball and sand volleyball. Austin Junior Volleyball has won 5 National Championships in its history.

This year, Austin Junior Volleyball, with the support of the LTYA, is excited to host free volleyball clinics in the fall to all LTYA participants in 3rd grade to 6th grade.  AJV will provide instruction in the basic skills needed to play volleyball including serving, passing, setting, and hitting.  AJV will provide high level instructors with a 1:12 coach to player ratio.  The AJV staff running the clinics have successfully coached in the club level, collegiate level, and international level.  This is a great opportunity to learn the game of volleyball, meet new friends, and have a lot of fun.
